COVID Related Trauma: Resources for Teachers, Administrators and Staff to Reduce Anxiety Amid COVID Pandemic

Course Description

This course is intended to provide administrators, teachers and staff with resources for managing their own anxiety related to the COVID-19 pandemic so that they may be better able to support students who are coping with anxiety. This course will provide resources for administrators, teachers and staff to learn techniques for managing their own symptoms of anxiety as well as for supporting their own friends, family and colleagues. Participants will learn a variety of cognitive behavioral strategies for preventing anxiety and managing symptoms when they occur.

The requirements of this course include a basic understanding of childhood development and employment in the field of education.
