Course Description

This course provides 40 hours of training based off of the Registered Behavioral Technician (RBT) Task-List, as set forth by the BACB, that is required to attain an RBT Credential.

What are the requirements?

RBT Topic Review Quizzes

After viewing the training videos and resources, the student will go the "Review" tab and complete the quiz for the topic they completed.
The student will have 3 opportunities to pass each Topic Quiz with 80% or higher. Let the instructor know via email if you would like to reset a quiz at
The student will be able to view their progress in the course by going to the "Dashboard" tab at the top of the page.

Final Test

To pass this course you must complete all RBT Task List Review quizzes for each topic section and a final test comprising of 50 questions derived from the the topic quizzes.
Do not take the Final Test until you have passed all of the Topic Quizzes
the student will have 2 opportunities to pass the Final Test with 90% or higher.
The student must pass the Final Test to complete the course and to receive a "Certificate of Completion" for the entire 40-hours of RBT training.
Again, the student must complete this course within 180-days from the time they start the course work, to the time they pass the Final Exam. In addition, the BACB will not accept training hours less than 40 hours spent on this online course. The instructor can view the student's interactions with the course and can use discretion in determining if they student honestly completed 40 hours.

A Certificate of Completion for 40-hours of RBT training will be generated when you have completed/reviewed all course material, passed all Review Quizzes, and final test.
When you have completed the course, please do not select me, Lindsey M. Malchow, MEd, BCBA as your supervisor with the BACB as you are required to obtain the RBT Competency Assessment from with a supervisor you work with or you have a contract to do so.
The instructor can view the student's interactions with the course and can use discretion in determining if the student honestly completed 40 hours. The instructor will not sign off on a certificate of completion if 40 hours was completed in less than 180 days.
